Metro Crêpes
began as a hobby in the fall of 2001. Fresh back from
a trip to Paris where we had eaten a ton of crêpes,
we decided to sell them ourselves at Bay Area farmer’s
markets on weekends. Like the Parisian crêpes,
ours were grab-and-go style. We added a California touch
– emphasizing fresh, healthy and eclectic menu
options.
When the Bay Area economy cratered and the companies
we worked for went bankrupt, we decided to give our
hobby a shot as a real business – it was called
the West Coast Crepe King – in downtown San Francisco.
Today, we offer delicious breakfast, lunch and dessert
crêpes as well as hearty soups, made-to-order
organic salads, gourmet coffees and other snacks for
busy, health-conscious, crêpe-loving Bay Area
professionals.
